• Lana: (talking about what her feather tattoo means) You are where you need to be. Just take a deep breath.

• Lana: (On her mixed heritage) I've played Latin, I've played Italian. And I've played the all-around regular girl. I think the thing about the way I look, is that I can look like many different things. People sometimes ask me if I'm Russian. I don't think I specifically look like a Puerto Rican or an Italian. Wouldn't you agree?

• Lana: I'm one who likes to travel a lot anyhow. I'm kind of like a gypsy. I don't live in one place too long, I'm always moving. I've probably lived like in 18 different places.

• Lana: When I was just a kid, growing up in Brooklyn, I was constantly making home videos with my family – real silly high-concept productions like, 'Attack of the Killer Handkerchief.' I guess I knew even then that I wanted to be an actress.

• Lana: (On her style) My boyfriend says I dress like a rock star but I would say my style is hip and comfortable.
